プロフィール
札幌市生まれ
幼い頃よりクラシック、ジャズ、ポピュラーなどの音楽に親しみ、特にウィリアム・ギロックの作品に影響を受ける。
ピアノ教師の傍ら作曲活動に従事し、2004年 米国出版社Willis Music Companyより日本人初の契約作曲家としてソロ小品集「憧憬 1」、連弾曲集「Winter Songs」を発表。
日本的なエッセンスを含んだ詩的・絵画的・ドラマ風なスタイルを持った音楽は、米国の音楽教育雑誌に紹介され 講座が開かれる等、国境を越えた子供から大人まで幅広く親しまれ、国内外でのコンクール、コンサートのプログラムとしても取り上げられている。
これまでにソロ作品「憧憬 2」「Moving Pictures」「Soaring on Air」「Celestial Dreams」「氷の人魚」「Two Romances」「Foggy Blues」、連弾作品「Feeling in F」「Summer Face in G」「Letter to the Sky」「Venus」「The Royal Seven」「Pandora」「Bouquet」など、現在、合計20冊が出版され、更に多くの作品を期待されている。

Naoko Ikeda
Profile
Born in Sapporo, Japan.
Influenced by classical, jazz, popular music and especially the works of William Gillock.
As well as working as a piano instructor, Naoko has extensive experience in composition in Japan. In 2004 she became the first Japanese composer contracted with the Willis Music Company and released a collection of piano solos, "Shoukei 1" as well as a collection of Duets titled, "Winter Songs".
Naoko's music, with a Japanese essence of poetic, pictorial and dramatic style is introduced to American Music Educational magazines and also through many workshops. Her music now is enjoyed widely from children to adults worldwide, played in competitions and concerts in and outside of Japan.
Naoko Ikeda's music sheets published so far include solos such as "Shoukei 2", "Moving Pictures", "Soaring on Air", "Celestial Dreams", "The Glacial Mermaid", "Two Romances" and "Foggy Blues".
